Delighted to see a great review of Summon Up The Blood by Emily Melton in Booklist. She starts it with possibly my best-ever review quote: “Mesmerizing, repellent, bizarre, intelligent, dark, provocative…” Repellent! I’m so pleased – inordinately pleased – with that “repellent”.
